I chose to review a blog by Mrs. Leeby. My first impression of her site was the amount of color and resources. Her site is packed with helpful tips and resources for teacher. She shares a bit about her family and how they have been innovators going back generations; she hopes to carry on the tradition through teaching.
Mrs. Leery not only shares advice, but she creates her own fonts and resources on Teachers Pay Teachers. The resources she creates are very classroom friendly, especially for elementary students. I would recommend her creations to colleagues, but I don't think that I will use a lot of them in my future classroom. I think they are great, but I enjoy creating my own posters and bulletin boards. I will keep her blog as an aid for inspiration for my own creations. She also provides great advice for a range of education topics. I really love her emphasis on art integration. She provides this lesson example of a math lesson with art and technology integration. She explains everything thoroughly and provides pictures that show how it looks played on in a real classroom.
I have learned a lot by looking though her website. I love how teachers can collaborate miles apart from each other; and I am thankful for educators like Mrs Leeby for using the opportunity to share her wisdom and resources!
